By CollegeDatingGuide Staff

When one is already a college student, classroom flirting is almost a usual thing to do. But what is flirting? What can it do to help a college student? How does it affect a certain student? Will it make any college student perform better in terms of academics? Well, classroom flirting is defined as a playful behavior intended to arouse sexual interest. It is often described as a casual conversation between two college students with a romantic touch. It is also a way of treating serious things with an almost mocking or self-mocking air of ease.

Classroom flirting or flirting inside the classroom is often denoted as an important part of courtship. It usually continues into relationships or even marriage. Many have considered flirting to be an effective way of drawing the attention of your potential partner or the attention of the person you like. Classroom flirting is often consist of gestures with styles, language, body language (either alpha body language or beta body language), postures and physiologic signs. There are also some college students who consider classroom flirting as part of foreplay. This is because flirting often ends up in getting laid or sex, but not all of them.

Many college students have had relationships due to classroom flirting. This can be a very good way to find a potential partner in life. Although most college students usually do this, most of them hardly take this kind of actuations seriously. In classroom flirting, the distance you keep from the other person when flirting is important, because it will affect his or her impression of you, and the quality of your interaction. Perhaps even more importantly, paying attention to the other person's use of distance will tell you a great deal about his/her reactions and feelings towards you.

There are so many classroom flirting tips that can be acquired these days. Among these flirting techniques is to be friendly, don't let past rejections cloud your judgment or make you paranoid about an interaction going on right now, and be prepared emotionally and physically which often means looking your best as often as you can and not dragging past or present personal troubles into a new interaction.

Classroom flirting often includes eye contact, slight but casual touches, protean signals for example touching a person’s hair, dilation or the pupils, friendly verbal teasing, winking and sending and receiving notes either poems, written music, or mix tapes. The gestures we use in classroom flirting can signal interest, attraction and invitation - or discomfort, dislike and rejection. When flirting, it is important to be aware of these non-verbal cues, both in 'reading' your partner's body-language and in controlling the messages you are sending with your own gestures.

In classroom flirting, you may also use flattery words, make immediate and direct contact, repeat the person’s name, and whisper. You can also play with a piece of the person’s clothing. Most importantly use eye contacts, since your eyes are probably your most important flirting tool. We tend to think of our eyes mainly as a means of receiving information, but they are also extremely high-powered transmitters of vital social signals.

There are many teen magazines that give classroom flirting tips. You may be able to buy one that will give tips which are appropriate for your personality. You can also visit the internet. With this you will be able to master the art of flirting inside your classroom even if your teacher is around.
